This is tororo kombu made from carefully selected natural gagome kelp, characterized by its strong sticky texture, which is found only in limited areas off the coast of Hakodate, Hokkaido. Its exceptional thickness and flavor make it a true delicacy unique to its region of origin. Enjoy the thickness and umami of gagome kelp by adding it to miso soup, udon, soba noodles, or by placing it on top of rice.
