伝統染色技法の一つである【柿渋染】は、防腐・防虫効果があり古来より様々なシーンで使われてきました。布・家具・建材・日用品・工芸品・薬などその用途は多く、染色液は熟していない青柿を原料に、何年もかけて熟成させて作られます。通常の柿渋染めに鉄とチタンからできた媒染剤を塗り込むことで柿と金属が反応して濃い色合いへと増していきます。職人による手染め回数をよりも重ねてより深く濃く染めました。手染めならではの一枚一枚違う表情をお楽しみ頂けます。しっかりした織目で、気持ちのよい手ざわりの変わり織りです。
