Kakejiku Obon Hanging Scroll New Obon First Obon Offering Buddhist27,500 yen
This product is a set of a Rinzai school principal and side Buddha hanging scrolls and a stand for hanging them.
The Kakejiku Uwan Shinkane is a Japanese-made hanging scroll.
It is made by attaching paper called honshi, which depicts Buddha, to thick cardboard, and then mounting it with red and purple cloth. Metal fittings are attached to the wooden lower rod to complete it. Each piece is handmade in Kyoto.
The principal Buddha, Shakyamuni Tathagata, is hung and enshrined in the central upper part of the Buddhist altar.
Manjushri Bodhisattva (right) is the Buddha of wisdom (the saying "Three people together, Manjushri's wisdom") and is hung and enshrined on the right side of the upper part of the Buddhist altar.
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (left) is the Buddha who governs knowledge and compassion, and is hung and enshrined on the left side of the upper part of the Buddhist altar.
