Kähler, a leading Danish ceramic brand, was founded in 1839 by the potter Herman J. Kähler. The logo "HAK" comes from the initials of his son, Herman A. Kähler. Taking over his father's workshop, he was passionate about new glazes and creations, and actively exhibited at international exhibitions, attracting the attention of dealers worldwide. Even today, as it was then, most of the processes are finished by hand by skilled artisans, giving each piece its own individuality and charm.
