■ Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is ceremonial grade matcha?
A. It is matcha made from finely ground young tea leaves of the first flush harvest, grown under shade, and is excellent in color, aroma, and umami. It is characterized by its delicious taste when simply whisked with hot water and is also suitable for matcha lattes.
Q. What is the difference between Future Matcha and Kizuna Matcha?
A. Future Matcha is a single-cultivar matcha made from "Saemidori," with strong sweetness and umami and almost no bitterness. Kizuna Matcha is a blend of Kagoshima tea leaves, offering a balanced astringency and a clean aftertaste, characteristic of traditional matcha.
Q. What is the recommended water temperature?
A. 80-90°C is recommended. Boiling water can bring out bitterness, while water that is too cool may not release the aroma well.
Q. How many servings are in a 30g can?
A. Approximately 15-20 servings for Usucha, and about 10-15 servings for matcha lattes.
