Entremont masterfully captures the "vivid colors" and "powerfulness" of this piece. It is a fine work with a Southern European flavor within a classical framework, contrasting interestingly with Miroir’s Piano Concerto No. 1. The French-style antique sound retained by the wind instruments, backed by the prestigious Paris Conservatory Orchestra just before disbanding, is also noteworthy.
