■ Indications and Effects

Promotes healing, reduces pain, maintains a moist environment, and provides protection for wounds such as cuts, scrapes, scratches, chapping, hangnails, shoe bites, and minor burns (scalds).

■ Usage Instructions

Incorrect use may worsen the wound. Please be sure to read the instruction manual before use.

(1) Wash the wound

Thoroughly rinse out foreign objects and bacteria with running tap water.

Do not apply disinfectants or creams. Some disinfectants can damage the cells involved in wound repair and hinder healing. If using disinfectants, use as little as possible and rinse thoroughly with water.

**"When washing is difficult"**
If dirt such as sand or small stones are lodged in the wound and cannot be rinsed away with water alone, remove them with a clean gauze or cotton swab.

(2) Observe and treat

Remove moisture with a clean towel or tissue paper, and stop bleeding if present.

*Note:* If bleeding does not stop after 2-3 minutes, seek medical attention.

To improve adhesion and prevent peeling, wipe away moisture, oil, or cream from the wound and surrounding skin. Remove the Kinzu Power Patch™ from its individual packaging beforehand, and warm it with both hands for one minute to improve skin compatibility. When choosing a Kinzu Power Patch™, select one slightly larger than the wound. Using a product that matches the size and location of the injury will make it more effective.

**"What should I observe?"**
Check that no foreign fibers or debris such as towel or tissue fibers are attached to the wound. For burns, do not forcibly burst blisters or peel off skin.

(3) Keep moist

Apply the patch snugly to prevent body fluids (exudate) from drying out and forming a scab, maintaining moisture at the wound site.

After applying, cover the patch with your palm and warm it for one minute. This helps ensure a firm, complete adhesion to the skin.

(4) Monitor progress

Observe the wound until it closes.

*Note:* If any abnormalities are observed at the wound site, stop home treatment and consult a doctor.

If body fluids (exudate) leak from the Kinzu Power Patch™ and cause it to peel off, wash the wound and replace with a new patch.

As the skin regenerates and the wound closes, exudate will stop, and the patch will no longer swell into a white gel-like mass when replaced.

When replacing, gently pull on one end of the patch several times and peel it off slowly. If it is difficult to remove, pour warm water between the patch and skin to loosen it.

**"When the wound has closed"**
The closing of the wound indicates healing has begun. However, touching it unnecessarily can interfere with the repair process and delay healing. Newly formed skin is also susceptible to pigmentation if exposed to direct sunlight. Even after the wound closes, protect it with a bandage for a while.

- Scrapes from falls or minor cuts from daily life can be treated with the Kinzu Power Patch. However, for deep or large wounds, please see a doctor.
