This is a Hasegawa original design hanging scroll depicting the Jodo sect's side Buddha, Shindō Taishi.
Shindō Taishi was a Chinese monk who preached the teachings that form the basis of the Jodo sect, and it is hung on the right side of the upper tier of the Buddhist altar.
The vivid silk screen (picture part) is professionally mounted with multiple layers of torn paper applied by hand.
※※ Kakejiku stand is sold separately ※※If there is no hook to hang the hanging scroll on the Buddhist altar, a kakejiku stand is necessary.
