A waist-worn life jacket that does not hinder fishing movements, is slim, and does not take up much space.
Upon falling into the water, the sensor element detects water and automatically inflates. It can also be manually activated by pulling the manual inflation cord (pull tab).
This is a Type A life jacket, approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (with a Sakura mark), and can be used as mandatory equipment on all small vessels, as well as for fishing and leisure activities near water.
According to the Ship Officers and Small Vessel Operators Act, life jackets are mandatory when boarding a small vessel.
Furthermore, wearing a life jacket is said to more than double the survival rate in case of falling overboard, and wearing one is recommended regardless of whether you are boat fishing or shore fishing.
