This product is a collaborative project with "Norioka Shoyu Brewery," a long-established Japanese company with over 100 years of history.We are particular about ingredients from Wakayama Prefecture and have developed a recipe containing 30% Jabara juice, 28% soy sauce, and 27% orange juice.
It pairs well with various dishes such as hot pots, grilled meat, tataki, thinly sliced sashimi, yudofu (hot tofu), Japanese-style hamburgers, and salads.
【What is Jabara?】Jabara is a type of citrus fruit similar to yuzu, kabosu, and mikan.It is a rare fruit native to Wakayama Prefecture, characterized by abundant juice, a strong aroma and acidity, and a unique flavor.Jabara contains vitamins and carotene that help recover from fatigue, and notably, the peel contains a high amount of narirutin (a type of flavonoid), which is exceptional among citrus fruits, according to research.
Jabara was once considered a "phantom fruit" because it only grew wild in Kitayama Village, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.It is distinguished by its sourness, slight bitterness, and distinctive flavor and aroma.It has attracted attention for its high content of the flavonoid "Narirutin," especially abundant in the skin.
