This is a nuka bed (rice bran pickle starter) that you can use by simply putting vegetables in this tub and pickling them.The included supplementary shiitake nuka is for replenishment.Comes with a convenient instruction manual with Q&A.This is a "live" type where lactic acid bacteria and yeast are alive. Nuka pickles are delicious pickles made through lactic fermentation. Unlike pre-seasoned nuka beds, this allows you to make authentic nuka pickles.

●Caution: To maintain quality and safety until you use it, we have finished it with a slightly higher salt content and a firm consistency as a base. Therefore, initially, please perform 2-3 discard pickles or early harvests to allow the salt to settle. If you find this troublesome, please add water and stir. This will make it softer, but the saltiness and usability will become just right. Also, the enclosed "Shiitake Nuka" contains salt, so please do not use it initially. Use it as a supplement, gradually adding it over several times while checking the taste.
