SEE-SAW Original Iron Legs
SEE-SAW offers solid materials and paints made from natural materials. These iron legs also feature a "black skin specification," a unique finish that naturally occurs during the manufacturing process.
When iron is formed at high temperatures and cools, it oxidizes, creating a film. This film is the "black skin." Since it occurs naturally, the color depth and texture vary from piece to piece.
While rust prevention treatment is applied, the black skin is prone to peeling off at welded areas and curved sections. Depending on the progression of oxidation, rust may appear in these areas. We do not recommend these legs for those who dislike the idea of rust. However, like solid wood boards, these are interior pieces that allow you to enjoy the aging and changes over time, and can be "grown" with you, the customer, just like solid wood.
We also accept custom size orders. You can even create your own original legs. We encourage you to consider this combination of "solid wood boards" and "black skin iron," where the distinct textures of each are strongly felt, offering infinite possibilities.
