Sheepota, who works at his grandmother's craft shop, is a sheep beastman, but the only noticeable feature in his appearance is his hair. His strong habits cause his hair to puff up and explode into a fluffy mess on rainy days, making him think, "I'm glad I'm a beastman!" Surrounded by various types of wool in his beloved grandmother's store, he enjoys a life completely unrelated to romance or his beastman nature.
However, one day, his cousin Ichiro asks him to cover for a part-time job. The job is at "Sleeping Companion Nukunuku"—a sleep-sharing service that provides warmth and comfort during lonely nights. Relenting to just one reservation, Sheepota visits a hotel where he encounters a man named Mitsumasa Inukai, a handsome salaryman with dark circles under his eyes. Inukai suffers from insomnia, and as part of the service, Sheepota listens to his stories and lies down, allowing Inukai to touch his hair, which feels like wool. Inukai quickly falls asleep. It seems he plans to repeat the service another day, but Sheepota thinks this will be a one-time encounter and they will never meet again.
A few days later, he unexpectedly reunites with Inukai, who is heavily intoxicated, in the city. Sheepota, whose beastman nature makes him highly compatible with Inukai, becomes excited just by being embraced by him—!?
