As he celebrates the 30th anniversary of his compilation life, a new compilation series is launched with confidence. His partner is graphic designer Jiro Fujita, known as FJD, who has worked on the artwork for numerous music works. His design work includes jazzy & mellow beats works represented by Nujabes, as well as works by Calm, Sakura Fujiwara, and Keisuke Kuwata, from architecture to hotel lobby art and shop logos, all visible throughout Tokyo. The new compilation series "Incense Music," featuring selection and supervision by Tetsu Hashimoto and artwork by Jiro Fujita, and mastered by Japan's top artist Calm, who is highly acclaimed internationally for jazz, chill-out, and balearic music, will be released starting March 2024 from Incense Music Works (also a restart of Suburbia Records). The theme is "scents and music," creating a relaxing ambient, jazz, chill-out, balearic, post-classical, jazzy & mellow beats for a peaceful living space, with new recordings by trusted artists (the first series "Incense Music for Bed Room" includes Uyama Hiroto's cover of Pharaoh Sanders' "Moon Child" and a Bill Evans "Soiree" homage by haruka nakamura), and beautiful original jacket artwork by Jiro Fujita.
