Product Description
This is an Igusa (Rush grass) sheet made from domestically produced (Kyushu-produced) Igusa. Place it on top of your futon and use it as a sheet. Finished with a soft-touch 33-weave. Domestic Igusa is thick, has a thick epidermis, and fine fibers, making it elastic and durable. Igusa has the following effects: 1. Approximately 3 times the moisture absorption of cotton, reducing dampness from sweat. 2. Regulates humidity, preventing stuffiness and promoting comfortable sleep. 3. Suppresses over 90% of the chemicals that cause sweat odor, reducing smell. The Igusa has been treated with Aomori Hiba processing (antibacterial and deodorizing effects). "Hiba oil" extracted from Hiba trees in Aomori Prefecture is sent to the site, and processed into materials and products using the manufacturer's unique technology. "Hiba oil" contains a natural substance called Hinokitiol, which has extremely high antibacterial properties and is being researched for use in various fields such as medicine and food. *Please note that as this is a natural material and is processed by artisans one by one by hand, there may be variations in shape and slight differences from the indicated size.
