My parents' house is in the countryside. It is quite far from the house to the station, and from that station to the city center as well. The nearest station is unmanned, and only one or two-car trains come. Perhaps because of that, I rarely ride trains to go out far, and during my student days, my means of transportation were bicycles and my parents' car.
