- Aromatherapy

Use about one drop per tatami mat (approximately 1.62 square meters), up to 5 drops per day.

- Massage

Add 2 drops to 10ml of carrier oil, warm the skin, and massage. (Dilution rate: 1%) *For sensitive skin, dilute further.

- Aroma Bath

Blend 2-3 drops into 1 tablespoon of natural salt, milk, honey, etc., and use.

■ Precautions for Use of Essential Oil:

Do not apply undiluted directly to the skin.

If undiluted oil accidentally contacts the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

If any abnormality occurs on the skin, consult a specialist.

When used for massage, dilute to about 1%.

For sensitive skin or elderly people, dilute further to 0.5–0.8%.

Before massage, perform a patch test to check skin compatibility.

Some individuals may develop allergies depending on their constitution or the type of essential oil.

Always perform a simple patch test before use.

Do not ingest or drink. (Do not add to tea or other beverages.) If accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting; rinse the mouth with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately.

Do not put in the eyes. Be careful to prevent entry into the eyes during use. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a specialist.

Be aware of photosensitivity with citrus essential oils.

When applied to the skin, exposure to strong sunlight can cause a reaction to ultraviolet rays, leading to skin inflammation or other issues. This is called photosensitivity, and bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, sweet orange, and mandarin oils may have this potential.

Avoid direct sunlight for about 6 hours after use.

Pregnant women and those taking medication should refrain from use and consult their doctor.

Infants and elderly individuals should reduce the amount used; about half of the usual amount is recommended.

For massage, it is recommended to use carrier oil alone without essential oil.

Be careful that it does not stain clothing. Essential oils on clothing may cause permanent stains.

Please refrain from using essential oils for medical treatment purposes. Currently, in Japan, essential oils are not recognized as medicines.

When washing clothes or fabrics contaminated with essential oil, ensure it is fully removed before drying to prevent fire hazards.

■ Storage Precautions:

Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to prevent deterioration. Avoid high temperature and humidity, and be cautious of extreme temperature and humidity changes.

Tightly close the container lid to prevent oxidation and evaporation of the essential oil.

Keep out of reach of children and pets to prevent misuse or accidental ingestion.

Avoid using or storing near open flames, as there is a risk of fire.

Use up opened essential oils within about one year. However, citrus oils tend to deteriorate more quickly, so it is recommended to use within about six months.
