Precautions for use of essential oils:

- Do not apply undiluted directly to the skin.
- If the undiluted oil accidentally contacts the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- If any abnormality occurs on the skin, consult a specialist.
- When used for massage, dilute to about 1%.
- For sensitive skin or elderly, dilute further to 0.5–0.8%.
- Before massage, perform a patch test to check for skin compatibility.
- Some individuals may develop allergies depending on their constitution or the type of essential oil.
- Always perform a simple patch test before massage.
- Do not ingest or drink. (Do not add to tea or drink.) If accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting; rinse the mouth with plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately.
- Do not put in the eyes. Be careful to prevent entry into the eyes during use. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a specialist.
- Be cautious of photosensitivity with citrus essential oils.
- When applied to the skin, strong sunlight can cause a reaction with UV rays, leading to skin inflammation or other issues.
- This phenomenon is called photosensitivity. Essential oils such as bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, sweet orange, and mandarin may cause photosensitivity.
- Avoid direct sunlight for about 6 hours after use.
- Pregnant women and those taking medication should refrain from use and consult their doctor.
- Infants and the elderly should reduce the amount used; about half of the usual amount is recommended.
- For massage, it is recommended to use only carrier oil without essential oils.
- Be careful not to stain clothing. Essential oils can cause stains that may not come out.
- Do not use essential oils for medical treatment. Currently, in Japan, essential oils are not recognized as medicines.
- When washing clothes or fabrics contaminated with essential oils, ensure they are fully removed before drying.
- There is a risk of fire.

Storage precautions:

- Store in a cool, dark place to prevent deterioration. Avoid high temperature and humidity, and extreme changes in temperature or humidity.
- Keep the container tightly closed to prevent oxidation and evaporation.
