He was originally human, but unlike humans who get lost in the spirit world, he does not have a "delicious-smelling" scent to yokai. Furthermore, since he is already dead, no matter how much he is harmed, he cannot be killed. He is an immortal-like being. He is the protagonist's attendant and finds meaning in his existence by serving the protagonist.

1st year. The protagonist's cousin. Ranks 2nd in overall academic performance at school. He harbors a competitive spirit towards the protagonist, who ranks 1st. He is spirited and tends to put on a brave front, and despite his abilities, he is not good at presenting himself well. He has known the protagonist for a long time as a relative and they were close in the past. However, since the protagonist broke a taboo, he has begun to act coldly towards her.
