The latest remastering by Jimmy Page opens up a new legend of the flying ship! Led Zeppelin Reissue Project
As the second installment, the historic masterpieces 'Led Zeppelin IV' and 'Houses of the Holy' are now available.
Led Zeppelin's grand remastering project's second phase is already here.
This magnificent Led Zeppelin remastering project started in June of this year. As soon as the first three early albums were released, the world was abuzz with the quality of the newly remastered sound sources and the companion audio containing previously unreleased rare recordings, which was also unveiled for the first time.
The second release in this remastering project includes two works: 'Led Zeppelin IV' and 'Houses of the Holy'. As with the previous three albums, they feature the latest digital remaster supervised by Jimmy Page, and the deluxe edition includes a companion audio disc with unreleased sound sources.
The fifth album from 1973, 'Houses of the Holy', not only topped the charts but also sold over 11 million copies in the U.S. alone, earning a diamond disc certification. The album features the powerful guitar riffs and bluesy sounds characteristic of Led Zeppelin, such as 'Eternal Song' and 'No Quarter', which left a vivid impression in the film 'The Song Remains the Same'. It also includes tracks that show their continual evolution, such as the reggae-influenced 'D'yer Mak'er' and the funk jam 'The Crunge'.
Among Led Zeppelin's albums, these two are the most influential in rock history and also achieved great commercial success. A moment has come to reveal a new aspect of these masterpieces.
'Houses of the Holy'
Uses synthesizers, Mellotron, double-neck 12-string guitar, etc. This fifth album is marked by adventurous elements, incorporating reggae and funk influences.
