The HE-68WB features a compact 5-inch wide screen, but its display boasts a high resolution of 480 x 272 dots, providing excellent visibility even in bright sunlight outdoors.
Additionally, the use of bonded liquid crystal technology, where the LCD and cover glass are bonded with special resin to eliminate air gaps, improves visibility and prevents condensation.
With conventional LCDs, color shifts could occur depending on the angle when wearing polarized sunglasses, but this unit achieves clear screen display from any angle.
You can choose from 6 types of fish finder screen color patterns (2 of which are 10-gradation monochrome modes).
To make it easy for even beginner fish finder users to start right away, it is equipped with fish finder auto functions.
With Auto Range (depth) and Auto Gain (sensitivity), it operates fully automatically, requiring no special operation.
The bottom hardness level is displayed numerically from 0 to 20 and graphically, making it easy to determine the bottom composition.
In addition to the included power cord, it can also be powered by 8 AA batteries. It can be used continuously for up to approximately 10 hours. (AA batteries are not included.)
