It features a dynamic and fast-paced card-driven system that redesigns the "Quartermaster General" system.
The game begins in the summer of June 22, 1941, with the start of Operation Barbarossa.
Victory can be achieved by accumulating victory points earned by holding strategic key points in the winter rounds of each year and achieving a sufficient point difference.
Players have individual decks representing the overall national strength of their respective countries, and by playing cards from their hand each round,
they execute general actions such as using the card's effects or replenishing forces.
Meanwhile, the opposing player can counter the opponent's actions by using the corresponding abilities listed on the cards,
and large-scale defensive battles such as those in Leningrad and Stalingrad can be recreated.
Furthermore, a second movement phase, allowing only mechanized units and fleets to move, makes it possible to recreate the mobile warfare of the Eastern Front, such as rapid advances and encirclements.
Forces include infantry, tanks, fleets, and aircraft, and victory will be elusive without considering deep defense, air support, and combined arms.
