A dream collaboration between the world-famous communication board game "Dixit" and Disney, which celebrates its 100th anniversary.
'Dixit: Disney Edition' is an independent set that can be played on its own, featuring characters familiar from Disney and Pixar movies.
With 84 new cards illustrated by Natalie Donbois, depicting iconic Disney and Pixar films from "Steamboat Willie" to "My Friend is a Raccoon," it captivates players.
It can also be played by replacing cards from the basic Dixit set and the expansion sets of the Dixit series, which has released 10 types so far.
"Dixit" means "(he) says" in Latin, and in France, it is used to mock unfounded claims.
In this game, each player holds 6 cards in hand, and one by one, players take turns being the storyteller.
The storyteller selects one card from their hand, says a word associated with the illustration, and other players choose one card from their hand that they think is most related to that word.
Once everyone has played one card, the storyteller shuffles and arranges them, and the other players vote on the card they think the storyteller chose.
Points are awarded based on the voting results.
If everyone guesses correctly or everyone guesses incorrectly, the storyteller does not receive points, so the storyteller is required to use words that are not too obvious nor too obscure, but moderately ambiguous.
