Importance of Early Pregnancy Testing
When pregnant, by around the next expected period date, it is approximately the 4th week of pregnancy, and the fetal brain, heart, and other organs begin to form. From this time until about the 16th week of pregnancy, it is a critical period for the development of major organs and also a sensitive period for external influences. Therefore, for healthy fetal development and maternal health, it is important to know as early as possible whether you are pregnant, to ensure proper nutrition and medication use, avoid alcohol and smoking, and be cautious of infections such as rubella and radiation exposure.

Principle of the Test
When pregnant, the body produces and excretes human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) into the urine. HiTester N detects hCG in urine using monoclonal antibody-based immunochromatography. This test kit is an auxiliary screening tool for pregnancy and does not provide a definitive diagnosis.

Components, Quantities, and Usage
- 1 test stick contains:
- Mouse monoclonal anti-hCG antibody: 1.0 μg
- Gold colloid bound monoclonal anti-hCG antibody: 6.0 μg

Usage and Dosage
【How to Use】
- Testing can be done approximately 1 week after the expected period date.
- Urine can be tested at any time in the morning, noon, or evening.

1. Preparation
Open the individual package immediately before testing and take out the test stick. Attach the cap to the opposite end of the test stick.
- Urine collection area: where urine is applied directly or dipped.
- Result window: shows the test result.
- End window: indicates the test was performed correctly.

2. Applying Urine
- Hold the urine collection area downward and apply urine to the entire collection area for at least 5 seconds.
- Do not apply urine to the result window or side surfaces.
- If using a paper cup, collect urine in the cup and dip the entire collection area into urine for 10 seconds.
- Do not immerse areas other than the collection area.

3. Waiting
- With the collection area facing downward, replace the cap and place the stick on a flat surface for 1-3 minutes.
- Avoid reading results after more than 10 minutes.
- Do not re-apply urine to a test stick that has already been used.
- Do not point the collection area upward during waiting.

【How to Read Results】
- First, confirm that the end window shows a purple-red end line.
- Positive:
- If a purple-red line appears in the result window, there is a possibility of pregnancy.
- Please consult a doctor as soon as possible.
- Even a faint vertical line in the result window indicates a positive result.
- Negative:
- If no purple-red line appears in the result window, no pregnancy reaction was detected in this test.
- If menstruation does not start afterward, re-test after about one week or consult a doctor.

【Precautions for Usage】
- Do not make a definitive diagnosis of pregnancy based solely on the test result.
- A positive result indicates a possibility of pregnancy but cannot confirm a normal pregnancy; see a doctor promptly.
- Confirmed pregnancy is diagnosed by a doctor through medical history and ultrasound.

1. Those undergoing infertility treatment should consult a doctor before use.
2. If the result is negative but menstruation does not begin, re-test or consult a doctor.

【Timing of Testing】
- For regular cycles:
- Testing can be done about 1 week after the expected period date.
- Early pregnancy may sometimes show very low hCG levels, resulting in false negatives or unclear results.
- If menstruation does not start about a week after a negative or unclear result, re-test or consult a doctor.

- For irregular cycles:
- Calculate the expected date based on the previous cycle and test approximately one week after that date.
- If menstruation does not start afterward, re-test or consult a doctor.

Disposal
- After use, dispose of the test stick as plastic waste according to local regulations.

Storage and Handling Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool, shaded place.
- Do not use after the expiration date.
- Do not open the individual packaging until immediately before use.
- Do not transfer to other containers to maintain quality.
