◆Preparation for one cup (teacup size):

1. Pre-warm the teacup.

2. Place one tea bag into the cup and pour in freshly boiled hot water gently.

3. Cover and steep for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Using a lid or saucer to cover enhances the flavor.

4. Gently shake the tea bag and then remove it.

*For iced tea, reduce the amount of hot water, brew a strong tea, and pour it over ice in a glass.

In 1996, the Japan Organic & Natural Foods Association (the predecessor of JAS) dispatched inspectors who certified that the tea from production to packaging was genuinely organically cultivated, thus granting Japan’s first "Organic Certification."

This was a groundbreaking event at a time when many products claimed to be "organic," and it received significant media coverage.

- Why products with the difficult-to-meet JAS standards remain affordable

Following green tea, in 1998, black tea and barley tea also obtained "Organic Certification."

Even with the stricter standards introduced in the 2000 revision of JAS, which succeeded the standards from JONA, we successfully passed and have continued to acquire organic JAS certification for over 40 products.
