【Synopsis】
"This is a journey to gather the pieces of hide."
On May 2, 1998, a sudden event led to his passing.
His innovative musicality incorporated various genres.
His foresight was evident in his daring outdoor festivals, which were still rare at the time.
He was loved by many for his humanity.
On that day, Japan's music scene lost a great asset... However, 17 years later, hide's story continues.
Naturally and inevitably, hide's friends have started to move, and various activities are underway to pass on the "sound" and "message" left by hide to future generations.
In this work, interviews were newly conducted with various people who knew hide, including musicians and related personnel, adopting a deliberate "no script" approach during filming.
When gathering the pieces of hide, what does the puzzle tell us?
What do hide's "music," "humanity," and "spiritual world" reveal?
This documentary also serves as proof that hide remains an ongoing presence as of 2015.
