The Road Impulse is a third-generation Hexa Gear developed by Earthclain Biomechanics. It is an excellent mass-production machine that served as the prototype for the Reblade Impulse. While sharing the same frame structure and most equipment with the Reblade Impulse, this model is characterized by its versatility.
Initially, Earthclain Biomechanics planned to develop and manufacture two models: Bolt Rex and Road Impulse. However, amid confusion following SANAT's control over MSG, they lost the factory entrusted with Bolt Rex's production. As a result, the main combat Hexa Gear procurement plan associated with the Liberty Alliance formation was carried out with only the Road Impulse. Since one of the two planned models was missing, some specifications of this machine were revised. These included the addition of a chain gun, a large magazine for the automatic grenade launcher, and the Trick Blade described later. Nonetheless, the firepower capacity that could be carried was still insufficient, leading to frequent on-site additions of heavy infantry weapons and outdated large firearms. However, excessive heavy armament was discouraged to preserve the characteristics of a third-generation Hexa Gear and to avoid operational issues within units.
The machine is equipped on the front left and right sides of the body.
