■■■ Product Details ■■■
Kimono made of cotton,
The condition has a faint stain on the string part as shown in the close-up image, but
the outer fabric otherwise has no noticeable stains or dirt and is in very good condition.
If you do not mind, you can wear it as is.
Kurume kasuri (Kurume ikat) is one of Japan's three major kasuri (ikat) textiles,
designated as a traditional craft by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry in 1976, and is a representative woven fabric of cotton.
Even when we say kasuri, the process until the product is made involves about 30 steps, including tying, dyeing, and weaving.
Also, the origin of the word "kasuri" is said to come from the fact that, when the fabric is woven,
the pattern appears blurred, giving it its name.
The greatest feature of Kurume kasuri is the technique of expressing complex patterns by combining warp and weft threads,
and the beauty and unique texture of kasuri are created by skilled artisans.
The more you use it, the more character it develops, making it a comfortable material.
It is a very high-quality item.
We are offering it at a low price, so please take this opportunity.
*We strive to photograph the item as close to the actual color as possible, but there may be slight differences.
