【Pure Silk】
As shown in the close-up images, there are stains on the surface and lining in some areas.
Honba Chikuzen Hakata-ori is a silk textile produced in and around Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Geometric patterns based on the Buddhist implements of 'Dokko' and 'Kasa' are woven into it.
It is also called 'Hakata Kensho' or 'Kensho Hakata' because it was presented to the Shogunate by Nagamasa Kuroda, the lord of the Chikuzen domain during the Edo period.
It is also called Hakata Kensho, or Kensho Hakata.
The warp threads wrap around the weft threads, so only the warp threads appear on the surface,
creating a weave called 'Keana-ori' where the horizontal ribs are prominent.
Because 30 to 60 fine warp threads are used, it has stiffness and firmness, a dense texture, and a lustrous feel.
It is said to be an obi that tightens properly, is resistant to coming undone, and is easy to tie.
This is a very high-quality item, so why not have it cared for and wear it.
We are listing it at a low price, so please take this opportunity.
