【Pure Silk】
The condition is that it has been tied, but
there are no particularly noticeable stains or dirt, and it is in very good condition.
Honba Chikuzen Hakata-ori is a silk textile produced in and around Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Geometric patterns based on the dokko and kazara, which are Buddhist ritual objects, are woven into it.
Since Nagamasa Kuroda, the lord of the Chikuzen domain during the Edo period, presented it to the shogunate,
it is also called Hakata Kenjo or Kenjo Hakata.
The warp threads wrap around the weft threads, and only the warp threads appear on the surface,
resulting in a weave called keou-ori (warp-rib weave) where the horizontal ribs are prominent.
Because 30 to 60 fine warp threads are used, it has stiffness and firmness, a hard texture, and a lustrous feel.
It is said to be an obi that ties securely, is resistant to losing its shape, and is easy to tie.
This is a truly high-quality masterpiece.
I am listing it at a low price, so please take advantage of this opportunity.
