In the past, the wearing of silk textiles by commoners was prohibited in the Tokushima domain,
and this textile was born from the desire of people to enjoy cotton textiles more stylishly.
Utilizing the elasticity of the warp threads, its unique textured feel
is full of rustic charm, and above all, the patterns woven with pre-dyed threads
exude an unpretentious elegance.
Furthermore, the feel of the cotton is very soft and smooth,
and it has excellent moisture absorption, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable kimono appearance without stuffiness.
