The condition shows some light stains on the surface fabric and both sleeves as shown in the close-up images.
As is known as "Shiozawa" when it comes to unlined kimonos,
early summer and early autumn for a few months, a kimono that captivates kimono enthusiasts and never lets go.
Now, it is used all year round, throughout all seasons, and
is an ideal tsumugi for both unlined and lined kimono.
"Hon Shiozawa" differs from the general "Shiozawa Tsumugi" in that,
both warp and weft threads are made from raw silk spun into a silk fabric.
The warp threads are twisted 350 times per meter,
and the weft threads are twisted an additional 1800 times.
Because of this strong twisted thread, a textured surface similar to chirimen (crepe) is created.
The crisp "shari" feeling and texture that feels "shari-shari" is
unique to Hon Shiozawa.
Since it is a very high-quality piece, we recommend taking good care of it and wearing it.
