[Pure silk, unsewn]
The condition has light stains on various parts of the surface as shown in the close-up images.
The authentic Chikuzen Hakata Ori is a silk fabric produced in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and its surrounding areas.
It features geometric patterns based on the trident and flower dish, which are Buddhist ritual implements.
Since Kuroda Nagamasa, the lord of the Chikuzen domain during the Edo period, presented it to the shogunate, it is also called Hakata Presentation or Presentation Hakata.
It is woven with a technique called 'okime' weaving, which makes the horizontal ridges stand out.
Because it uses 30 to 60 fine weft threads, it has firmness and resilience, and the fabric has a hard texture and a glossy appearance.
It is said to be a well-fitted, hard-to-lose, and easy-to-tie obi.
This is a very high-quality item.
We are offering it at a low price, so please take this opportunity.
※ We strive to photograph the actual color as closely as possible, but there may be slight differences.
