The next-generation bonsai pot where the techniques of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki come alive.
Heian Senzan

At the foot of Sennyu-ji Temple in Higashiyama, Kyoto, a place where master craftsmen have gathered and nurtured the culture of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki since ancient times, stands the kiln "Touan," founded in 1922. "Heian Senzan" is an original bonsai pot born from the fusion of the techniques of its fourth-generation master craftsman and the specialized perspective of KINBON, which has been producing bonsai pots for many years.

It is extremely rare for a Kiyomizu-yaki kiln, a traditional Kyoto craft, to seriously produce bonsai pots. This series, born from such efforts, combines beauty and practicality not found in conventional bonsai pots.

■ High-temperature firing that balances beauty and strength

Fired at approximately 1,200 degrees Celsius, distinguishing it from general ceramic pots.
This achieves high strength and durability.

While vibrant colors are generally difficult to achieve with high-temperature firing, unique glazes developed through years of research allow for the preservation of Kyo-yaki's elegant colors, while also providing scratch resistance.

■ Choose from 3 types of glaze (8 colors in total) (all with a unique, one-of-a-kind appearance)

・Hanakessho (Flower Crystals)
An original glaze by Toubuchi Yoshiaki, the fourth-generation master of Touan.
Characterized by a crystal pattern that blooms roundly like flower petals, created under extremely delicate firing conditions with a temperature difference of only ±3°C.
No two patterns are alike, allowing you to enjoy a special appearance that, despite being mass-produced, holds the value of a "one-of-a-kind" item.

・Hoshikessho (Star Crystals)
An original glaze by Toubuchi Yoshiaki, the fourth-generation master of Touan.
A fantastical glaze where tungsten-derived crystals spread like stars, emitting an iridescent sheen.
Its appearance changes with light and angle, creating a deep, scenic view within the vessel.
It is also attractive for allowing you to enjoy a texture similar to expensive Tenmoku glaze at a realistic price point.

・Kessho-yu (Crystal Glaze)
A natural landscape woven by crystals using traditional Kyo-yaki techniques.
It evokes a sense of depth while maintaining a calm presence, enhancing the charm of the tree.
