戦況はリアルタイムで変動する。仲間は単に動き回るNPCではない。敵の攻勢に苦戦していると、味方の部隊にまで被害が及んだり、素早く任務を達成できれば仲間からの賞賛の声をもらえたりと、主人公の戦果とドラマはプレイヤー次第。敵味方両方から恐れられる「第12特別機甲部隊」の一員として、思う存分暴れ回ろう。
