It uses domestically produced wheat flour.
No chemical seasonings or caramel coloring agents are used.
The roux is carefully roasted in small quantities over a direct fire pot, taking time to preserve its color and aroma.
This is a melt-in-the-mouth flake-type roux that can be used for Hayashi rice, hashed beef, and beef stew.

◆How to Serve
Beef Stew (serves 4–5)
＜Ingredients＞
- Beef: 250g
- Large onion: 1 (250g)
- Carrot: 1 small (150g)
- Potato: 1 (150g)
- Water: 750cc (about 3 cups)
1. Sauté the beef, onion, and carrot cut into bite-sized pieces in butter or salad oil until well browned.
2. Add 750cc of water and simmer gently for 30–40 minutes until the ingredients become tender. If simmering for a long time, add more water. Remove any scum that floats to the surface.
3. Add the potato cut into bite-sized pieces and simmer for 5–10 minutes.
4. Turn off the heat once, add one bag of this product, and simmer again over low heat until thickened.
Adding fresh cream (or milk) at the end will give a milder flavor.
How to Make Hashed Beef & Hayashi Rice (serves 4–5)
＜Ingredients＞
- Thinly sliced beef: 200g
- Small onions (thinly sliced): 2 (300g)
- Small carrots (thinly sliced): 1 (about 100g)
- Water: 600cc (about 3 cups)
1. Sauté the beef in butter or salad oil until slightly browned, then transfer to a dish.
2. Sauté the onions and carrots thoroughly.
3. Add water to steps 1 and 2 and simmer for about 15 minutes.
4. When the ingredients become tender, add one bag of this product and simmer over low heat until the roux dissolves.
