【武将について】
浅井 長政（あざい ながまさ）は、戦国時代の武将。北近江の戦国大名。浅井氏の3代目にして最後の当主。
浅井氏を北近江の戦国大名として成長させ、北東部に勢力をもっていた。妻の兄の織田信長と同盟を結ぶなどして、浅井氏の全盛期を築いたが、後に信長と決裂して織田軍との戦いに敗れて自害し、浅井氏は滅亡した。浅井長政とお市の方は、浅井家が滅亡するまで、仲睦まじく添い遂げた。そんな浅井長政とお市の方との間に生まれたのが、「茶々」（ちゃちゃ）、「初」（はつ）、「江」（ごう）の三姉妹。浅井家は滅亡してしまったが血を分けた娘たちはその後有名な大名達に嫁ぎ、その血を繫いでいった。
