Artist Profile
■ Moonriders
A rock band with over 45 years of career since their debut in 1976. The current members are Keiichi Suzuki (Vo, G), Tetsu Okada (Key, Cho), Masahiro Takekawa (Violin, Trumpet), Hirofumi Suzuki (B, G), Ryoaki Shirai (G), Fumihisa Natsuaki (Dr).
Formed in 1975, based on the 'Hachimitsu Pai' band that was active in the early 70s. In 1976, they made their major debut with the album 'Hinotama Boy' under the name Moonriders and Suzuki Keiichi.
In 1977, they released their first album as Moonriders, 'MOONRIDERS', and have been steadily releasing albums since then. They paused activities for about five years from 1986, but resumed in 1991 with the album 'Saigo no Bansan'.
Their sound, always pursuing new musicality, influences not only their peers but also many younger artists.
Additionally, each member actively engages in solo activities, including production and songwriting, in various fields.
