MP Soap White is a milky white soap base that melts in the microwave.
Adding food coloring allows you to create beautiful pastel-colored soaps.
MP Soap... "MP" stands for Melt & Pour, referring to a soap base that is melted in the microwave and then poured into a mold to harden.
MP Soap contains glycerin, which attracts moisture.
It melts at 70-75°C.
Heating above 80°C or for extended periods can cause cloudiness.
Once finished, wrap the soap by stretching the plastic wrap to prevent water droplets from forming on the surface.
◆Recipe Example
Essential oils: 2-8 drops (e.g., Geranium, Lavender, Rosewood)Dried herbs: 1-2 pinches (e.g., Chamomile, Marigold)MP Soap (soap base): 100g, soap mold, heat-resistant container, glass rod (or bamboo skewer)
1. Finely chop the MP Soap into about 6 pieces, place in a heat-resistant container, and melt in the microwave (approx. 20 seconds).2. Add essential oils to step 1, stir well, then pour into the mold to half its height.3. Add dried herbs, pour in the remaining soap, and let it cool at room temperature until hardened.
*You may notice small bumpy particles on the surface of the soap. This is due to the glycerin contained in the soap and does not affect its quality.
*Bubbles may be visible near the surface of the finished soap. This phenomenon tends to occur more frequently when using silicone molds.
