An Art Piece Where "Light and Wind" Reside in Everyday Life
As you cross Shijo Ohashi bridge, the Kamo River gently curves, running parallel to the cityscape and promenade.
This piece depicts the river landscape bathed in bright sunlight on a clear day, rendered in a rich color palette.
This is a small Kyoto print depicting a scene from Kyoto.
"Rich Colors and Texture" Unique to Hand-Printed Woodblock PrintsThrough traditional techniques where each color is carefully printed one by one, the transparent, vibrant blues and the light-evoking colors of the river are delicately expressed.
The size is slightly larger than a postcard. It can be easily displayed in small spaces such as on a desk, in an entryway, or on a shelf in the living room.

A Piece That Resonates in the Heart, Despite Its Small Size, Perfect for GiftsThe Kamo River is a place of relaxation for Kyoto residents. This artwork, adorned with a refreshing morning scene, delivers a "moment of relief" to the recipient's daily life, making it ideal for housewarming or new home gifts.
About the MaterialsFor the woodblock prints, smooth, white Japanese paper is used. It is a material well-suited for woodblock printing due to its good color rendering and durability.
It is created using "hand-printed woodblock printing," a traditional printing technique where color is applied to paper one color at a time from an image carved into wood.
