The Bakumatsu era, Bunkyu 3rd year-- Chizuru Yukimura, a young girl, visits the capital of Kyoto alone from Edo to search for her father, with whom contact has been lost. In the unfamiliar capital, while being attacked by ronin, she encounters a bloodthirsty, monstrous being. And then, she encounters the Shinsengumi soldiers who cut down that monster--. By a strange twist of fate, Chizuru begins to act alongside the Shinsengumi. As Chizuru searches for her father, mysterious swordsmen appear before her and the Shinsengumi.
