**For Tape-Type Diapers:**
1. Set the urine pad so that it fits securely inside the diaper's standing gathers. Position the wider side of the pad towards the back.
* *Note:* For men or if experiencing significant front leakage, you may also position the wider side of the pad towards the front.
2. While holding the pad in place, put on the diaper so it fits snugly inside the groin area and makes close contact with the urethral opening. For tape-type diapers, fold them in half vertically, hold the center of the diaper, and align it along the inside of the groin.
3. Fasten the lower tape first. Finally, ensure that the thigh flesh is tucked inwards and that the diaper fits snugly in the groin area.
**For Pants-Type Diapers (Standing Position):**
1. Stand stably by holding onto a handrail or similar support. Lower the pants to about thigh level and change from the back. To prevent falls or unsteadiness, spread the user's legs to about shoulder-width apart during this process.
2. Position the pad to fit snugly inside the groin area. Make close contact with the urethral opening and pull up the pants. Pull up and adjust the pad on both the abdominal and buttocks sides.
