また、BC/C型には「カット面のみはんだメッキ」を施したFタイプがあります。Fタイプは、はんだを送る量を制限したり、隣接する部品へのブリッジを防止したいときに使います。
※大きな熱容量が必要な場合にはむきません。

こて先の蓄熱量
BC型は下側へいくほど太くなる形状なので、同じサイズでもBC型の蓄熱量の方が大きくなります。
サイズの選び方
ワークにあったカット面のサイズを選んでください。

B型やD型で失敗しやすいチップコンデンサのはんだ付けも、C型やBC型ならきれいにフィレットを形成することができます。
BC/C型には特殊加工タイプである「長寿命タイプ」のこて先があります。
チップ部品のはんだ付けに使う
ランドにカット面をあてて、はんだを送りながらゆっくりこて先を引いていきます。
注意 電極にこて先をあてないように指定されているチップもあります。
引きはんだに使う
リードにカット面をあてて、ゆっくりこて先を引いていきます。
注意 フラックスを塗布してからはんだ付けしてください。ブリッジなどのトラブルを軽減します。
リード線の予備はんだに使う
リード線にカット面をあてて、はんだを送りながらゆっくりこて先を引いていきます。
ポイントはんだに使う
1. ランドとスルーホールを同時に加熱します。
2. ランドの全周にフィレットが形成されるように、はんだを送ります。
コイルの被覆はがしに使う
1. コイルと端子を同時にあたためます。
2. はんだを送ります。
