＜グリーンパン＞
グリーンパンは世界で初めてフッ素樹脂を使わないノンスティッククックウェアを開発したベルギーのブランドです。
グリーンパンは、ベルギー人JanHelskensヤン・ヘルスケンスとWimDeVeirmanウィム・デ・ヴァーマンによって開発されました。
従来のフッ素樹脂コーティングを過熱すると有毒物質を放出することをアメリカなど先進国が公にしていない頃、ましてや業界にも知らされていない頃から研究は始まっていました。
フッ素樹脂に替わる人体や環境に安全な新たなコーティングを探し始め、研究者らと共に研究開発を重ねました。
防煙素材として使われるようになったセラミック塗膜は高熱に強く有害物質が出ない事を知り、これをなんとかキッチンウェアに加工できないかと実験が繰り返されました。
品質、人体や環境への安全性の検証と保証、適切な加工施設の構築と実際の導入に至るまで、開発にはさらなる時間がかかりました。
そして2007年、有害なPFASを一切含まない、砂由来と同じ原料からなるセラミック・ノンスティックコーティング「Thermolon?（サーモロン）」を開発しました。
