The tea aroma diffuser is an item that uses a candle to heat tea leaves, creating a space filled with the aroma of tea.The flame of the candle has a calming effect called 【1/f fluctuation (F-bun no Ichi Yuragi)】, which helps to relax the mind.With the concept of combining plant fragrances and the flickering of candles to offer the ultimate relaxation space, the tea aroma diffuser blend was developed.
Currently, the practice of relaxation using a tea aroma diffuser is gradually spreading.However, most tea leaves designed specifically for the diffuser are only green tea or roasted green tea blends, with few mixed products.In response, we collaborated with Kawamotoya Tea Shop, a tea expert located in Isezakicho, Yokohama City, and sincerely herb, a herbal tea blender, to develop an original blend exclusively for the diffuser.
There are two types: Daytime and Nighttime blends.Below is a brief overview of the characteristics of each blend.
**Daytime Blend 【Saiun】**Saiun refers to a rare meteorological phenomenon where clouds near the sun display rainbow-like seven-colored patterns. Because it is rare, seeing Saiun is considered auspicious and is believed to bring good fortune.We combined four herbs to evoke a bright, positive feeling that suggests good things are about to happen.The Holy Basil used has a refreshing aroma that makes your back feel light when inhaled, making it a highly regarded herb.Lemon Myrtle, known as the “Top of Lemon,” is said to have seven times the lemon scent.It, along with Kumazasa (bamboo grass), has antibacterial properties, and research shows that citrus scents can reduce stress.The image of “OFF” in deep green indicates that Saiun is “ON,” making it perfect for mornings before work or for accompanying remote work, providing an uplifting lemon scent.Saiun closely resembles a new way to enjoy the diffuser, with the aroma of lemon complemented by the fresh scent of green tea, black ginger, and Holy Basil spreading like aromatherapy.Enjoy it as you would an aroma candle♡
**Nighttime Blend 【Shinryoku】**This blend is inspired by deep green, not bright green, and is intended for use at night or on OFF days.It features the pleasant scent of stem tea that evokes forests and tea fields, with a gentle, mellow note from桑茶 (mulberry tea) to soften the slightly sharp edges of stem tea, and a deep green aroma from Ashitaba.熊笹 (Kumasasa) adds familiarity and indoor antibacterial effects.This blend uses four domestically produced teas, creating a nostalgic, familiar aroma that relaxes both mind and body.It is ideal for bedtime or days off, providing a calming experience.Designed to appeal to a wide age range, the scent gradually changes over about 15 minutes after lighting.Please enjoy the beautiful transition of aromas that evoke a sense of Japanese harmony.

**Stem Tea (Camellia sinensis)**Made from the stems of tea leaves separated during the production of Sencha and Gyokuro.High-quality Gyokuro and premium stem teas are also called “Karigane” tea, and we have carefully selected Uji-produced Karigane for the diffuser.Stems are slow to burn and retain their aroma longer, resulting in a richer, more fragrant tea aroma.
**Kuro-Moji (Lindera umbellata)** (Kusunoki family)Written in kanji as “Black Character,” this tree is known for its high aromatic quality.It was favored by Sen no Rikyū and is used for high-grade toothpicks in tea ceremonies.Its scent is different from typical toothpicks, offering a refreshing, forest-like aroma often called “drinking forest bathing.”This aroma is especially recommended for those feeling stressed.
