Akashi-yaki is a local gourmet dish representing Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, which has been loved by citizens since ancient times under its original name "Tamagoyaki."
Its history dates back over a hundred years, making it older than Osaka's takoyaki, and it was a major hint in the birth of takoyaki.
