To commemorate the 40th anniversary of its release, the original soundtrack for the late James Horner's early work, "Gorky Park," will be released. This work allows you to fully appreciate Horner's rare young talent by fusing classical music with the 80s pop percussion, orchestra, and electronics that were mainstream at the time.
This luxurious 2-disc CD features Disc 1 composed solely of the film score, omitting Tchaikovsky's overlays and inserts. Disc 2 begins with the original 1983 digital album master and is re-recorded with the same content in a new hi-res mix. Limited worldwide release of 1500 units.
