This is a metal Gorinto (five-ringed tower) engraved with Sanskrit characters.
The Gorinto is constructed by bolting together approximately four parts.
By removing the bolts on the base, the Gorinto can be disassembled into about four parts, allowing for cleaning.
Since the five-ring pagoda is not attracted to magnets, it can be placed near precision equipment without concern for magnetic interference causing malfunctions.
It shows signs of age, including dirt, rust, and scratches.
Please check the images for the condition.
Therefore, if you are seeking like-new quality or are extremely particular about such details, please refrain from purchasing.

■ Additional Product Information ■
A Gorin-tō is a stone memorial tower or grave unique to Japan, consisting of stones stacked from the bottom up in the following order: square, round, triangular, crescent-shaped, and a pointed round stone.
It represents the five great elements of the universe—“earth, water, fire, wind, and space”—from Buddhism, which originated in ancient India, and is imbued with the meaning of praying for the deceased to reach the Pure Land.
* **Space Ring (Kūrin):** The topmost layer. Shaped like a jewel (or hemisphere), it represents “space.”
* **Wind Ring (Fūrin):** The second layer from the top. Shaped like a half-moon, it represents “wind.”
* **Fire Ring (Karīn):** The third layer from the top. Shaped like a triangle (roof), it represents “fire.”
* **Water Wheel (Suirin):** The fourth from the top. Spherical (round), representing “Water.”
* **Earth Wheel (Jirin):** The bottom one. Square (rectangular), representing “Earth.”
The characters engraved on the Five-Wheel Pagoda are Sanskrit characters known as the Siddhaṃ script.
