[DTF (Direct to Film) Transfer Printing]A method where the design is printed onto a special film and then heat-pressed onto the fabric. No plate-making is required, there are no color limitations, and printing is possible on fabrics other than cotton. Full-color designs and photographs can be printed with vivid, sharp results.* Disadvantage: Over time and with repeated washing, the print may peel.
<Notes>- For dark-colored garments, a pre-treatment agent is used during printing, which may leave marks on the treated areas. These marks will be present upon delivery but will become less noticeable after several washes.- If the printed surfaces are left touching each other while drying, the print may peel. After spin-drying in a washing machine, separate the printed surfaces as soon as possible.- Washing inside out by hand will help preserve the color. If using a washing machine, place the shirt in a laundry net.- Avoid using bleach or dry cleaning. Refrain from using an iron or dryer as much as possible.- Some garments may bleed color during the first wash. For the first wash, wash separately from other items.

[Kyoto Ippitsu-ryu Artist: Keisuke Teshima]Fascinated by dragons since childhood, he has continued to draw dragon art. Influenced by 14 years of karate practice since age 6, he learned the spirit of the Japanese way. Encountering the traditional Ippitsu-ryu, he was deeply moved by its technique and history, and, believing it to be his destiny, mastered the technique through self-study. While preserving the tradition of Ippitsu-ryu that has continued since the Edo period, he pursues the dragon with the spirit of “Shuhari” (守破離: follow, break, leave). He is one of only three Ippitsu-ryu artists in Japan. Originally from Fukuoka Prefecture, through a series of coincidences and destined encounters, he now has his atelier in Higashiyama, Kyoto—the thousand-year-old capital where the dragon deity is said to reside.
[Kyoto: The City Where the Dragon Deity Dwells]For over 1,000 years, Kyoto has been considered a place of dragon power, with many shrines and temples associated with dragons. Pilgrimages to these dragon-related sites have been popular from ancient times to the present.
[Dragons (Dragon Deity Belief) in Japan]Since ancient times, Japan has been regarded as a mystical land where dragons dwell. Dragons have been considered messengers of the gods or deities themselves. In many shrines, temples, myths, and legends, dragon deities are revered and worshipped as symbols of “prosperity” and “protection.”
