For example,- Color painting (E-enameled decoration)- Unlike typical color painting, which fills in the outlines heavily, Kakuzaburō Kiln applies a technique inspired by watercolor painting, creating a soft, faintly fragrant appearance.
- Underglaze blue (Sometsuke)- Usually, cobalt pigment is painted first, then covered with glaze and fired.- At Kakuzaburō Kiln, the painting is done on top of the glaze before firing.- During firing, the cobalt pigment dissolves into the melted glaze, resulting in a very soft and delicate finish.All these techniques are highly delicate and difficult, and each piece is a unique work of art created by the current master.
